Job responsibilities: –
- Accountable for ensuring ANB’s IT assets are effectively deployed, maintained, upgraded, and disposed of according to their life cycle.
- Ensure each IT fixed asset is accounted for and tagged to the appropriate cost center as defined by Finance and Procurement at ANB.
- Drive improvements and optimization in the utilization of IT assets.
- Maintain accountability through documentation of all asset movements and transfers.
- Own the maintenance of delivery notes for asset receipts and returns.
- Drive documentation and approvals associated with asset disposal using Fixed Asset disposal forms.
- Ensure adherence to processes and act as a signatory for fixed asset transfers related to IT movements carried out by authorized staff.
- Maintain discipline and methodical recordkeeping regarding IT Asset Management (ITAM) activities.
- Oversee all asset receipt, storage, and mailing activities to ensure accurate data entry and easy tracking and retrieval of assets from the store.
- Review adherence to IT standards such as ITIL/ISO 55000 and SAMA framework, as well as other best practices.
- Act as the Maker Checker to the IT Asset Manager, leading the ITAM capability including quality specialists, tool administrators, and technicians.
- Provide guidance to team members, align on priorities and roadmaps, and develop and track metrics for reporting purposes.
- Ensure program governance and change management align with ANB’s requirements.
- Liaise with other teams within ANB departments (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Infosec, ITG) to meet cross-functional requirements associated with TAM.
- Coordinate on audit and certification requirements.
- Serve as an escalation point for program issues.
- Manage team performance and conduct skip-level checks on output asset records to drive quality in the ITAM process at ANB.
