Sr Engineer-Engineer- Production- Calendring Process

This role is responsible for leading production operations in the calendaring process within the plant, ensuring smooth manufacturing, quality consistency, and optimal resource utilization. The position involves overseeing production planning, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The role requires strong hands-on experience in PVC manufacturing, team management, and the ability to maintain production standards in a fast-paced plant environment. Positions are based at Sikandrabad (UP) and Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production activities across calendaring, lamination, and related processes
• Ensure production schedules align with capacity, customer demand, and business targets
• Monitor quality standards, formulations, and process parameters
• Control manufacturing costs and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Maintain production reports (daily/monthly) and coordinate with PPC for planning & raw materials
• Drive process improvements, lean practices, and productivity enhancement
• Ensure proper scrap control and recycling practices
• Monitor machine performance and minimize breakdowns
• Coordinate with maintenance team for smooth operations
• Lead and manage production teams, including engineers and shift staff

Candidate Profile

• B.Sc. / B.Tech preferred
• 5–8 years experience in PVC / calendaring / continuous process industries
• Strong knowledge of machines like calendars, laminators, extruders, etc.
• Hands-on experience in process parameters (temperature, pressure, formulations)
• Good understanding of production planning, quality control & cost management
• Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement
• Strong team handling and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment
