Role Overview
Hands-on maintenance expert responsible for ensuring high uptime, reliability, and performance of 30+ Extruders, 100+ Injection Moulding Machines, and plant utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Ensure high machine uptime and OEE improvement
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns
- Troubleshoot extrusion and injection moulding machines
- Handle hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and drives issues
- Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR
- Manage utilities (compressors, chillers, power systems)
- Define and control critical spares and inventory
- Maintain maintenance records in SAP/ERP systems
- Lead installation, commissioning, and machine upgrades
- Implement reliability and performance improvement initiatives
Key Skills Required
- Strong hands-on expertise in extrusion & injection moulding maintenance
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA capability
- Experience in TPM / maintenance systems
- Self-driven, individual contributor mindset
Qualifications
- B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
