Responsible for managing injection moulding production during the assigned shift, ensuring optimum machine utilization, quality output, and adherence to production targets for PVC/CPVC fittings.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection moulding machines for PVC/CPVC fittings production
- Ensure achievement of shift-wise production targets with minimal rejection
- Handle mould changing, machine setting, and process optimization
- Monitor parameters like temperature, pressure, and cycle time for consistent output
- Troubleshoot machine, mould, and process-related issues
- Ensure product quality as per standards and reduce rejections
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdown resolution
- Maintain proper documentation & production reports
- Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and compliance standards
- Manage and supervise shift manpower (operators & helpers)
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of PVC / CPVC material behavior and processing
- Experience in injection moulding machines (Ferromatik, Windsor, Haitian, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in mould handling and troubleshooting
- Understanding of cycle time reduction and productivity improvement
- Basic knowledge of SAP / production reporting systems (preferred)
