Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Security and Data Privacy Consultant to join their team and ensure compliance with global data protection standards.
Job Overview :
As a Data Security and Data Privacy Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and managing data security and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO, PDP, and other relevant standards. You will collaborate with various teams to protect sensitive information and mitigate data risks.
Key Responsibilities :
– Develop, implement, and manage data security and privacy policies and procedures.
– Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO, PDP, and other relevant data protection regulations.
– Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
– Identify and mitigate data security risks and vulnerabilities.
– Develop and deliver training programs on data security and privacy best practices.
– Collaborate with IT, legal, and business teams to ensure data protection measures are in place.
– Monitor and respond to data breaches and security incidents.
– Prepare and maintain documentation related to data security and privacy compliance.
– Stay updated on the latest data security and privacy trends and regulations.
Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
– 5-10 years of experience as a Data Security and Data Privacy Consultant or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and PDP.
– Experience with data security technologies and best practices.
– Proficiency in risk assessment and management.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
