Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Databases (12c/18c/19c) and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x).
- Perform RAC & EBS patching, cloning, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Implement RMAN backups, Data Guard DR solutions, and support Exadata OS & DB patching.
- Administer Oracle WebLogic Server (10.3.6/12c), including configuration, JVM/thread tuning, patching, and upgrades.
- Install, configure, and manage BI Publisher (BIP) Server 11g and above.
- Troubleshoot issues across database, application, and web tiers.
- Implement security controls, encryption policies, access management, and audit compliance.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Python, PL/SQL, and WLST.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams; mentor junior DBAs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration with strong exposure to Oracle EBS and WebLogic.
- Expertise in Oracle DB (12c/18c/19c/21c), RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and Exadata operations.
- Hands-on experience in WebLogic 12c, Fusion Middleware, WLST, and JVM tuning.
- Experience with E-Business Suite R12.2.x (patching, cloning, CM tuning).
- Proficiency in scripting: Bash, Shell, Python, PL/SQL, WLST.
- Strong performance tuning skills using OEM, AWR, ADDM.
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix (RHEL, Oracle Linux) and Windows Server.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation capabilities.
- Preferred Skills :
- Experience with MS SQL / Azure SQL / MySQL.
- Java-based application deployment.
- GoldenGate 12c/19c (and 21c Microservices preferred).
- Exposure to Azure/OCI cloud environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps practices.
