Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Microstrategy Developer with extensive experience in API integrations to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microstrategy solutions with a focus on integrating external data sources via APIs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and leverage APIs to enrich Microstrategy reports and dashboards with real-time data. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microstrategy architecture and a proven track record of successfully integrating APIs into BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement API integrations to fetch data from external sources into Microstrategy.
- Develop custom connectors and data pipelines to support API integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key data sources and integration requirements.
- Optimize performance and scalability of API-based Microstrategy solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations.
- Stay updated on the latest API technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers on API integration techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Microstrategy tools.
- Strong proficiency in API development and integration.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and OAuth authentication.
- Solid understanding of Microstrategy architecture and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization platforms is a plus.
- Microstrategy certification and API-related certifications are preferred.
