New Product Development (NPD) Engineer (Automotive Industry) – PE Department (only female)

Job Summary: The New Product Development (NPD) Engineer in the Process Engineering Department plays a critical role in driving innovation and efficiency within the organization by leading the development and implementation of new processes for manufacturing new products.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Development and optimization of manufacturing processes for new products from concept to production.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, design engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure alignment of NPD activities with project goals and timelines.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose solutions during the NPD process.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
    • Prepare technical documentation including process specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality management systems.
    • Foster collaboration and effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment of objectives and expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, communications, or Instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of process and product design
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
