Enterprise data Architech-TOGAF (WFH)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect/Data Architect with a minimum of 10 years of proven expertise in architecting complex enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise data architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, with a focus on driving business transformation and aligning IT strategies with organizational goals. The person will be responsible for developing strategies to organize, integrate, and maintain the company’s data assets to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise architecture models, ensuring alignment with business objectives, IT strategy, and industry best practices.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for optimization, and design scalable and efficient architectural solutions.

· Lead the development of data architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and implementation plans to guide the evolution of the enterprise architecture landscape.

· Identify opportunities for leveraging data assets to drive business value and competitive advantage. Support in the presale’s activities (proposals, rfps, sow, collateral development).

· Design, implement, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business requirements.

· Define data standards, naming conventions, and data classification policies to ensure consistency and integrity across the organization.

· Develop data integration strategies to streamline data flows across disparate systems and sources.

· Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Implement data profiling, cleansing, cataloguing, metadata processes to maintain data accuracy and reliability.

· Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies based on performance, scalability, and cost considerations.

· Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.

· Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and standards.

· Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies to address them.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting knowledge sharing, mentorship, and collaboration across teams (technical and non-technical stakeholders).

· Stay abreast of industry developments, certifications, and best practices related to enterprise architecture, and actively contribute to the advancement of the discipline within the organization.

· Ready to travel to client location (MEA region) on medium to long term assignments.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification is required.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in field, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data and enterprise solutions in large-scale environments.

· Proficiency in architecture modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, TOGAF Architect, etc.) and enterprise architecture management platforms, data modeling and data management

· Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, big data concepts and methodologies.

· Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio, etc.) and database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps.
