Role Overview:
Responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with statutory regulations, and smooth management of plant facilities. The role will oversee safety programs, audits, emergency preparedness, and administration of plant infrastructure to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) policies and procedures.

Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks as per statutory requirements.

Lead safety training, awareness programs, and emergency drills for plant employees.

Ensure statutory compliance with Factories Act, Fire Safety, Pollution Control Board, etc.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and promote safe work culture.

Oversee facility management including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, utilities, and general administration.

Manage vendor contracts for facility-related services.

Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of plant infrastructure and amenities.

Prepare and present safety reports, incident analyses, and compliance documentation.
Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Industrial Safety / Environmental Science.

Certification in Industrial Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ADIS) preferred.

10–15 years’ experience in plant safety, EHS, and facility administration.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliances and plant safety regulations.

Proven experience in facility management and vendor coordination.

Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
