Role Overview:
We are looking for a Head of Marketing with strong expertise in product marketing and market positioning. This role will lead overall marketing which includes a team of Product Marketing, Branding and Digital Marketing teams to drive business growth, product portfolio optimization, and competitive market positioning while ensuring data-driven decision-making and impactful sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing & GTM Strategy
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and execute GTM plans for new product launches.
- Product Mix Strategy: Optimize product assortment to enhance market penetration and profitability.
- Market Positioning: Define and refine competitive market positioning for existing and new products.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing and benchmarking strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.
- Product Portfolio Optimization: Streamline the product portfolio to align with business growth objectives.
- Consumer & Market Trend Analysis: Conduct customer and consumer analysis to identify trends and demand patterns.
Business Growth & Strategic Initiatives
- Business Growth Initiatives: Identify and execute marketing-driven growth strategies.
- Market Demand Forecasting: Leverage data analytics to predict demand and align sales strategies.
- Strategic & Value Proposition: Define clear value propositions to maximize ROI on marketing investments.
- Competitive Benchmarking: Stay ahead of competitors through continuous market intelligence.
- Sales Enablement Roadmap: Develop strategies that support effective sales execution and revenue growth.
Community Engagement & Brand Development
- Consumer Behavior Analysis: Utilize insights to tailor product messaging and marketing strategies.
- Community Building: Develop engagement programs for plumbers, MEP professionals, and architects to enhance product adoption.
- Loyalty & Trade Marketing: Create value-driven trade marketing programs and industry-specific offers.
Team Leadership & Marketing Operations
- Lead & Manage Teams: Oversee Product Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, R&D, and Business Leaders to ensure product success.
- Marketing ROI & Budgeting: Track and optimize marketing spend for maximum business impact.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Digital Integration
- Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to guide pricing strategy, product positioning, and sales growth.
- Digital Integration: Align digital marketing efforts to enhance product visibility and lead generation.
- Branding Strategy: Maintain a consistent brand presence with a strong focus on product differentiation.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in product marketing within polymer-based plumbing solutions (PVC, HDPE, UPVC, CPVC pipes & fittings, bath fittings, plumbing accessories, sewerage & agri pipes).
- Expertise in Product Mix Strategy, GTM Strategy, Competitive Market Positioning, and Pricing Strategy Formulation.
- Strong leadership in managing Product Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.
- Experience in consumer behavior analysis, brand positioning, and demand forecasting.
- Data-driven mindset with a strategic approach to value proposition and ROI setting for marketing spends.
