Job Summary
The Utility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of plant utility systems to ensure uninterrupted production. This role involves maintaining equipment such as compressors, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, pumps, boilers, and water treatment systems used in pipes and fittings manufacturing. The candidate should have experience of more than 3 yrs and be from mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation of all plant utilities including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, pumps, boilers, and HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all utility equipment.
- Monitor and maintain water supply systems, compressed air systems, and cooling systems required for production.
- Maintain temperature control systems and process cooling systems used in pipe extrusion and injection moulding machines.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all utility equipment.
- Monitor and optimize power consumption, compressed air usage, and water consumption.
- Ensure efficient operation of utilities to reduce energy costs and wastage
