Job summary:
Looking for Lamination Incharge in a leading uPVC doors, windows and profile manufacturing company. The candidates should have experience of more than 5 yrs.
Job responsibility:
- Monitor and control critical parameters such as profile temperature, primer application, foil temperature, humidity, and bonding conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate uPVC profile lamination (foil wrapping) process ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure proper quality testing such as Heat Aging, Heat Reversion, Peel Test, Pull Test, and Coat Weight analysis.
- Maintain lamination inspection records and MIS reports on a monthly basis.
- Perform root cause analysis (Fishbone, CAPA) for process deviations and customer complaints.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) to enhance productivity, reduce wastage, and improve quality.
- Ensure zero peel-off defects and maintain high bonding quality in laminated profiles.
- Support new product / formulation development and process optimization.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine upkeep and downtime reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety audits and near-miss reporting.
- Utilize SAP system for production and quality data management.
- Maintain basic knowledge of uPVC tooling and process equipment.
- Manage and guide a team of operators and technicians (5–10 manpower).
- Maintain daily production reports, rejection analysis, and monthly MIS reports.
