We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with 4–8 years of experience, strong proficiency in SQL, and hands-on expertise in Excel-based reporting. The ideal candidate should be skilled in working with raw datasets, converting them into actionable insights, and possess a solid understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
Job Role:
- Analyze large and raw datasets to generate meaningful business insights
- Write and execute SQL queries (joins, filters, aggregations) for data extraction and analysis
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Work extensively with Excel to convert raw data into structured reports
- Develop reports and dashboards using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced Excel functions
- Apply data filters and transformations to support business reporting needs
- Ensure data integrity and maintain consistency across all reports
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests
- Handle large datasets efficiently and derive actionable insights
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and business teams
- Utilize basic data visualization/reporting tools (if required)
- Apply domain understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance in data analysis
- Work in US EST shift and align with business timelines
- Maintain documentation of reports, queries, and data processes
Eligibility / Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar role
- Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, aggregations, filtering)
- Advanced Excel expertise (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data handling)
- Experience working with large and raw datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Exposure to P&C Insurance domain preferred
- Experience in reporting or data visualization tools is an added advantage
