Objective:
Looking for Engineer- inventory management for the leading japanese automotive industry. To manage inventory of production consumables and machine spare parts, ensure effective coordination across departments, and drive cost-saving initiatives through in-house manufacturing and alternate sourcing to enhance overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory for consumables and spare parts using ERP/WMS systems.
- Execute cost reduction initiatives through in-house development and source optimization.
- Plan and forecast material requirements based on production schedules.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports for material issues, receipts, shortages, and abnormalities.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports for audits and management review.
- Ensure efficient warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow.
- Coordinate with supply chain and cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle/ERP systems, MS Office, AutoCAD/MS Visio (for layout planning).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and warehouse space management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and manage time effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B. Tech)- Mechanical
