Job Description
- Define enterprise GraphQL architecture, reference models, and implementation standards.
- Design and implement GraphQL Federation (Supergraphs & Subgraphs).
- Establish GraphQL schema governance, ownership models, lifecycle management, and versioning strategies.
- Design reusable, scalable, and secure GraphQL APIs.
- Lead architectural reviews and technical discussions for GraphQL initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.
- Design enterprise integration solutions using API-led connectivity and modern integration patterns.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, DevOps, and engineering teams.
- Drive API governance, performance optimization, observability, and developer experience improvements.
- Mentor engineering teams on GraphQL best practices, federation, schema evolution, and architecture.
- Support Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native integration initiatives.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of Solution Architecture, Integration Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in GraphQL Architecture, Federation, Supergraphs, Subgraphs, Schema Design, Queries, Mutations, and Subscriptions.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise GraphQL platforms from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL Schema Governance and Versioning.
- Experience with Enterprise Integration Architecture and API-led Connectivity.
- Expertise in API Management platforms (MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, or similar).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservices.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Distributed Tracing, Logging, and Monitoring.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- TOGAF certification and experience with enterprise API governance and digital transformation programs are preferred.
