• Head complete Plant HR, IR and Administration function for a  manufacturing unit

• Responsible for end-to-end HR operations including IR, statutory compliance, manpower management, time office, payroll coordination, employee engagement and plant administration

• Manage high workmen population in shift-based, unionized / semi-unionized environment

• Handle all IR matters such as domestic enquiries, disciplinary actions, charge sheets, suspensions and grievance redressal

• Manage wage settlements and negotiations (if applicable)

• Liaison with Labour Office and government authorities

• Handle disputes, conciliation and labour court matters (if any)

• Ensure smooth plant operations without disruptions

• Manage permanent workmen, contract labour, staff and supervisors

• Monitor productivity, control absenteeism and overtime

• Ensure compliance with statutory manpower ratios

• Ensure compliance under Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, PF, ESIC etc.

• Maintain statutory registers, returns, audits and documentation

• Coordinate inspections with factory inspector and labour authorities

• Supervise shift-based attendance system, overtime calculation and leave management

• Coordinate wage and salary processing and verify contractor bills

• Handle plant-level recruitment of operators, helpers, supervisors and technical staff

• Manage contractor manpower sourcing and structured induction

• Oversee security, housekeeping and gate control

• Manage admin vendors and control plant administration costs

• Drive employee engagement and welfare initiatives for workmen

• Conduct safety and HR awareness programs

• Lead plant HR team including HR Executives and Time Office staff

• Coordinate closely with Plant Head, Production, Maintenance, SCM, Finance and Corporate HR
