Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium-based automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration, with basic understanding of manual testing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver

• Build and enhance Data-Driven / Hybrid / POM frameworks

• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools)

• Execute regression suites and analyze test results

• Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues

• Perform API automation testing where required

• Ensure test coverage and improve automation efficiency

• Maintain automation code in version control (Git)

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver

• Proficiency in Java (or relevant automation language)

• Experience with TestNG / JUnit

• Framework development experience (Data-Driven, Hybrid, POM)

• Good knowledge of Maven / Gradle

• Experience with Git

• CI/CD integration knowledge (Jenkins preferred)

• API testing experience (Postman / Rest Assured)

• Basic SQL knowledge

Good to Have

• Exposure to DevOps practices

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment

• Basic understanding of performance testing tools (optional)
