Job overview:
To lead the complete Quality function and ensure that all incoming materials, in-process products and finished seamless tubes meet customer specifications, internal standards and applicable quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall QA/QC operations for seamless plastic tubes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, BRCGS, GMP and customer quality standards.
- Manage incoming, in-process and final quality inspections.
- Monitor tube dimensions, weight, wall thickness, appearance, printing, sealing and other critical parameters.
- Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis and CAPA closure.
- Control product rejection, rework and repeat defects through continuous improvement.
- Manage quality documentation, batch traceability, inspection reports and product release.
- Conduct vendor quality assessments and customer audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Printing, Maintenance and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in plastic packaging or tube manufacturing.
- Experience in seamless tube manufacturing, extrusion, injection moulding and printing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plastic testing instruments, quality tools, RCA, CAPA and quality documentation.
- Experience in customer complaint handling, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
