Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring product and process quality meet applicable codes, standards and customer requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting root cause analyses, managing audits and promoting a culture of quality within the organization. The manager will oversee inspection plans, monitor quality performance, handle customer complaints and lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Poka-Yoke and Zero Defect Methodology. Additionally, the role includes training and developing team members, maintaining quality documentation and supporting new product development activities. The ideal candidates should be from the background of uPVC windows and profile manufacturing industry and should have experience more then 8 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Develop inspection plans and define Critical to Quality (CTQ) points.
- Manage quality processes across raw materials, finished goods and work-in-progress.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using QC tools and 8D methodology.
- Promote quality improvement initiatives like Kaizen, Poka-Yoke and 5S.
- Maintain and review quality documentation, including FMEA, PPAP, SPC and control plans.
- Lead internal and external audits and report findings to management.
- Provide training on quality tools and processes to team members.
- Drive a culture of quality consciousness and manage performance metrics.
- Oversee new product development and product benchmarking activities.
