Job Summary
We are looking for a assistant/ Sr. assistant- Inventory in a top Japanese MNC that are into the manufacturing of Automotive components to manage parts scheduling, delivery tracking and material planning activities. The role involves ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, production and inventory teams to achieve timely delivery and optimized stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule parts as per production requirements
- Monitor parts delivery and ensure timely availability
- Coordinate with suppliers for delivery commitments and follow-ups
- Manage and control material flow across production lines
- Optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstocking
- Track daily production vs material availability
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and dispatch
- Support in resolving supply chain and delivery-related issues
- Work closely with PPC, procurement, and warehouse teams
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Material Planning & Inventory Management
- Knowledge of Supply Chain / PPC operations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Team player with a proactive approach
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Graduate (Preferred: Mechanical / Supply Chain / Operations)
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Material Management / Supply Chain concepts
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email Writing
- ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle / Power BI – preferred)
