We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Engineer to join a leading Plastics Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of polymer testing, product development, laboratory practices, and documentation. Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Science or Plastics Engineering
- CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology)
- B.Tech in Polymer Science or an equivalent qualification
Experience
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Research & Development within the Polymer or Plastics manufacturing industry.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Conduct testing of compounding samples and product development using the Brabender, Two Roll Mill, and Compression Molding machines.
- Prepare and maintain R&D reports, test reports, and all related documentation.
- Participate in plant trials after finalization of formulations/recipes by the R&D team.
- Assist in vendor development activities and maintain all related records and data.
- Ensure implementation of 5S practices and maintain all R&D laboratory equipment in good working condition through regular maintenance.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the R&D laboratory and keep systematic records of all market samples, raw materials, and chemicals.
