Role Summary
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing Pan India logistics operations, order management, and transportation planning across multiple manufacturing units and warehouses. The role involves ensuring efficient order fulfillment, inventory availability, cost optimization, and smooth coordination with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end Pan India logistics and order fulfillment operations across multiple production units and warehouse locations.
  • Oversee inventory planning and stock availability at warehouses to support timely order dispatch.
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Plant Operations, and Sales teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Plan and manage transportation operations including First Mile (FM), Mid Mile (MM), and Line Haul Movement (LM).
  • Drive route planning and logistics network optimization to improve service levels and reduce transportation costs.
  • Monitor and track logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight cost, vehicle utilization, and dispatch efficiency.
  • Lead transport vendor selection, negotiations, and logistics cost finalization with transporters and logistics partners.
  • Manage centralized transportation planning and monitoring through logistics platforms or procurement systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors and transport partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analyze logistics performance data and prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Handle operational challenges, crisis management, and problem resolution related to transportation and dispatch.
  • Lead and mentor the logistics and warehouse operations team to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Preferred Candidate Profile
  • 10–15 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
  • Prior experience in Consumer Durable / FMCG / Manufacturing/ Building Material Industry.
  • Experience managing multi-location logistics networks, warehouses, and transportation operations.
  • Strong expertise in vendor management, freight negotiation, and logistics cost optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and leadership skills.
