HR Manager / Deputy Manager – Plant HR

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager / Deputy Manager to lead end-to-end Plant HR operations. The role requires strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset to align HR initiatives with long-term business goals. The incumbent will play a key role in driving organizational effectiveness, compliance, and workforce engagement in a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning across functions
  • Lead performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices
  • Manage leadership hiring and succession planning
  • Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements, including female workforce compliances
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational development and change management
  • Analyze HR metrics and MIS reports for effective decision-making
  • Lead HR digital transformation and process automation initiatives

Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute
  • 12+ years of experience in Plant HR role
  • Experience in managing multi-location operations
  • Exposure to Plant-cum-Corporate HR frameworks
  • Experience handling mid-to-large workforce
  • Exposure to female-oriented plants preferred
  • Strong experience in compliances and legal frameworks, especially related to female workforce
