Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tooling In charge in UPVC Windows & Profile Industry to manage and oversee all aspects of tool maintenance, modification and handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, tool polishing, die handling, tool loading/unloading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as KAIZEN, CAPA, GEMBA, RCA, PDCA etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool Modification & Maintenance: Perform tool modification as per production requirements and ensure regular preventive maintenance (PM) to maximize tool life and efficiency.
Tool Polishing & Die Handling: Maintain, polish and handle tools and dies efficiently to ensure optimal performance.
Tool Loading & Unloading: Safely manage the loading and unloading of tools in machines to ensure smooth operations.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct regular inspections, analysis and preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Root Cause Analysis & Improvement (KAPA, KAIZEN): Identify areas of improvement using methodologies like KAPA and KAIZEN to enhance tool performance and process efficiency.
Tool Storage & Handling: Maintain proper storage and handling of tools to prevent damage and ensure availability as per production schedules.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to tools, dies and related equipment.
