Technical Project Manager-WFH-Waterfall

Key Responsibilities :

– Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

– Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

– Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

– Ensure resource availability and allocation

– Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress using appropriate tools

– Develop full scale project plans

– Lead the planning and implementation of project

– Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

– Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

– Report and escalate to management as needed

– Successfully manage the relationship with the client (internal) and all stakeholders

– Perform risk management to minimize project risks

– Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

– Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

– Help organization is building a strong PMO

– Assemble and coordinate project staff

– Manage project budget

– Manage project resource allocation

– Plan and schedule project timelines

– Provide direction and support to project team

– Quality assurance

– Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

– Present reports defining project progress, problems and solution

– Project evaluations and assessment of result

Essential Attributes for the position :

Skills : Bachelor’s degree/PG with 8+ years professional experience

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

– Ability to work in a team

Must have skills : Creativity, Flexibility, Adaptability, Negotiation, Conflict Management, Communication Skills

– Should be able to work under pressure and still maintain creativity

– Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering

– Proven working experience in project management in the Telco/ Financial/ Enterprise

– Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (in past).

– Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management

– Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

– Direct work experience in project management capacity

– Proven experience in people management

– Proven experience in strategic planning

– Proven experience in risk management

– Proven experience in change management

– Proficient in project management software

– Must be aware of Project management techniques/ tools.

– Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Project Management Tools.

– PMP certification is mandatory. PMI ID of the candidate and copy of his PMP certificate would be required

– Must have worked on all 5 process groups and at least 40 knowledge areas as mentioned in PMBOK.

– Working knowledge and experience of working on Medium sized projects with team size of at least 15 people with project value minimum of 2 million.
