Job Purpose
To lead the overall technical and academic operations of the semiconductor training centre, ensuring industry-relevant curriculum, high-quality trainers, effective laboratory integration, strong assessments, and industry partnerships. Should have experience of more than 15 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete semiconductor & advanced engineering curriculum.
- Define learning outcomes, competency standards and certification criteria.
- Recruit, evaluate, mentor and manage technical trainers.
- Review and approve lesson plans, lab manuals and assessment frameworks.
- Develop relationships with semiconductor, electronics and advanced manufacturing companies.
- Develop corporate training, upskilling and customised technical programs.
- Lead certification, capstone and final assessment processes.
- Ensure laboratory safety, equipment readiness and technical quality.
- Drive industry partnerships, accreditation and institutional collaborations.
- Monitor learner performance, certification, placement outcomes and employer feedback.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15–20+ years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, VLSI/ASIC, EDA, advanced manufacturing or related engineering domains.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor technology and manufacturing ecosystem.
- Experience in technical training, curriculum development or engineering education.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams/trainers.
- Strong knowledge of assessment, certification and competency frameworks.
- Experience developing industry/corporate partnerships.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Background
- Semiconductor fabrication, VLSI/ASIC, EDA, semiconductor equipment, R&D or advanced electronics.
- Experience with university-industry collaboration, corporate academies or technical training centres.
