Data Scientist | Python | SQL | AWS | Machine Learning | 5–7 Years | Contract/Freelance | 5+ Months (Extension Possible)

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist with 7+ years of experience to develop and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems while delivering scalable, production-ready models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for enterprise-scale business applications.
• Develop predictive, classification, clustering, regression, anomaly detection, and optimization models.
• Perform feature engineering by integrating multiple internal and external data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Build scalable, reusable, and production-ready analytics solutions.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve deployed machine learning models.
• Establish analytical best practices, quality standards, and reusable frameworks.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work in Agile teams and contribute to continuous delivery and process improvement.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Data Science.
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Statistical Modeling, Classification, Clustering, Regression, and Anomaly Detection.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with optimization libraries such as Gurobi or CPLEX.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Dash, or Shiny.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s or PhD is preferred.
