Job Purpose:
Looking for Assistant engineer/ engineer- SMT maintenance for the leading japanese automotive industry, ensure smooth SMT line operations by achieving KPIs, handling breakdowns, and maintaining utility equipment during shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Execute preventive maintenance as per plan and production forecast.
- Monitor departmental KPIs (OEE, downtime) and drive improvements.
- Share breakdown reports and implement corrective actions.
- Act as a link between production line and management.
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage maintenance manpower during shifts.
- Control spares and ensure availability for smooth line operation.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- 2–8 years of SMT maintenance experience.
Key Skills:
Troubleshooting, TPM, KPI monitoring, team handling, basic PLC/electrical knowledge.
