Tech Lead-Front end (React)-WFH

We are looking for a React Lead to spearhead the front end development, collaborating closely with backend teams using Java/Spring Boot. The role focuses on leading a team of React developers, designing scalable front-end architectures, ensuring smooth integration with Java-based APIs, and delivering high-quality, performant user interfaces for enterprise portals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the front-end development team, ensuring coding standards, reusability, and performance optimization.

• Architect and implement React.js applications integrated with backend Java/Spring Boot APIs.

• Collaborate with Power BI and Power Platform developers to embed dashboards, workflows, and low-code automation into the portals.

• Build and maintain reusable React components and shared libraries for portal consistency.

• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility (WCAG compliance).

• Ensure secure communication and data handling when integrating with backend services (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).

• Work with DevOps teams (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible) to streamline builds, deployments, and monitoring.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily scrums, reviews, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in front-end development, with 3+ years leading React.js projects.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Redux/Context API, React Hooks.

• Solid experience integrating front-end apps with Java/Spring Boot REST APIs.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, TailwindCSS or Material UI.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes.

• Strong knowledge of unit and UI testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

• Familiarity with enterprise portals (broker/partner/internal) in regulated industries (insurance, BFSI).

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering.

• Knowledge of Power BI embedding and Power Platform integration.

• Exposure to monitoring & observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki).

• Strong understanding of security standards and compliance in financial/insurance domains.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Certifications in React or front-end development are an added advantage.
