ServiceNow Developer (TSM and OMT)

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, TSM (Technology Service Management), and OMT (Order management and telecommunication). The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow modules to enhance IT service delivery. This role involves working on complex workflows, scripting, and automation to optimize business operations for telecom and other industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • ITSM Processes: Hands-on experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management in ServiceNow.
  • TSM and OMT Module Development:
    • Developed TSM modules for managing product specifications, service specifications, and resource decomposition rules.
    • Configured and customized OMT modules to meet telecom and business-specific requirements.
  • Customization & Integration: Created custom applications, tables, workflows using Flow Designer, and developed integrations to enhance ITSM, TSM, and OMT processes.
  • Order Fulfillment: Designed and implemented order fulfillment workflows with numerous tasks using Flow Designer, handling order creation from CSM workspace.
  • Client Interaction: Regularly interacted with clients to provide updates, gather inputs, and ensure delivery alignment.
  • Automation & Scripting: Utilized JavaScript, Glide Record, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Actions, and APIs for scripting and automation in ServiceNow.
  • Update Set Management: Managed update sets, source control, and the movement of customizations across different ServiceNow instances.
  • Service Catalog Management: Created and managed service catalogs, catalog items, and variables. Configured email notifications and integrated service catalog management with business needs.
  • Flow Designer Development: Created flows, sub-flows, and custom actions, integrating them across various business processes.

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including TSM and OMT.
  • Proficient in scripting (JavaScript, Glide Record) and automation using Flow Designer.
  • Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP).
  • Deep understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Expertise in creating custom workflows, tables, and fields.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and update set management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with TSM and OMT modules is a must.
  • ServiceNow certifications (System Administrator, Application Developer) are preferred.
